Criteria to Qualify for a Teens For Technology Computer Lab

Our partner schools agree to provide:

Appropriate Facilities We install and maintain the computers in secure, weather-tight facilities only.

Co-Funding Each school pays $US 150 (or equivalent $J) for each computer. Payment must be made in full before computers can be picked up at the TFT Kingston Office. A deposit $US 30 (or equivalent $J) starts the process, with the balance due before pick-up.

Computer Skills/Training Plan Schools agree to operate a structured programme for teaching age-appropriate technology skills, and employ a teacher(s) capable of teaching this programme.

Semi-Annual Updates on Status We rely on the schools to provide required status updates twice a year.

Helping Others Our network is built on the successes of others. We ask each partner school to offer technical assistance and guidance to other schools, organizations, or groups that could benefit from the TFT programme.
